MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS!
Our Board Members are experienced professionals committed to DTS goals and passionate about the philosophy that drives our non-profit. The Board oversees our mission, policies, programs, and needs; we are passionate about helping children and families learn through movement!
Cathy Lauderbaugh, Founder and President
Cathy Lauderbaugh works as a speech-language pathologist in Boulder, CO, through Creative Strategies Therapy. Cathy is passionate about incorporating movement into her therapy sessions. After years of seeing the profound impact of hippotherapy on many children and families, she wanted to find a way to give the same quality of service to families who do not have the resources to access movement-based services consistently. She started Dynamic Therapy Services with the goal of helping children find joy in learning through movement.
Kelly Worcester, Board Member
Kelly is a mother of three, and has seen the extraordinary benefits of movement-based therapy firsthand through the treatment and progress of her 11-year old who was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality. Neuromovement based therapy and hippotherapy have unlocked developmental growth in a special and meaningful way, but are sadly not often covered by health insurance or Medicaid -- she believes that every child, regardless of their financial situation, deserves the impactful experience of movement based therapy, and is honored to be a part of DTS who is doing all they can to provide that opportunity.
Stan Baldwin, Board Member
Stan Baldwin is a STEM teacher with 10 years experience teaching in CO and AK. Currently he teaches part time at TACT (Teaching the Autism Community Trades). Stan was diagnosed in high school with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), comorbid with dysgraphia (a handwriting issue) and dyscalculia (a math disorder). After graduating with a M.A. in Curriculum & Development from University of Colorado Denver, Stan spent the next few years teaching in urban & rural districts in CO, as well as 2 years in Alaska. After coming back downstates, Stan decided to pivot out of education to work with the department of vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to start a small 3D printing business, 3D-PT. Since then Stan has slowly built 3D-PT as a company that supports the autism community by 3D printing unique fidgets, and providing 3D printing and autism advocacy. Stan brings his experience as an autistic adult and advocate that lives somewhat independently in Colorado.
Carole Bakhos, Board Member
Originally from Lebanon, Carole and her family now live in Boulder County. She is the Executive Director for Jordan's Guardian Angels, a nonprofit leading research for rare diseases. She got involved with the disability community after her daughter, Yara, was diagnosed with a rare disease at the age of 2. Carole understands the importance of building inclusive communities and is on the board of multiple disability advocacy groups. Carole joined DTS' board to help families access well needed services that help their children reach their potential. Carole brings the family perspective to DTS through her 10 years of experience as a caregiver to Yara.

Sheila’s career as a speech-language pathologist spanned 38 years and included developing and implementing a Scottish Rite Clinic in Nebraska, teaching at CU Boulder for 17 years, and managing a private practice in Boulder for 20 years. Additionally, she served on the nonprofit boards for the Autism Society of Boulder County, Boulder County Early Childhood Connection, and Boulder Day Nursery. She serves on the board of Dynamic Therapy Services in order to support growth of movement-based therapy services to families in need. She has been involved with the 4-H program for the past 10 years as both a project leader and organizational leader; she participates on the county level with the horse program and agricultural groups. She is passionate about horses and truly understands how beneficial they are to the mental and physical well-being of humans. She has volunteered for several years in assissting with equine-related therapies and has seen firsthand how it impacts the lives of children and families.
